Vincent’s Project for the Homeless
Hello, I am Vincent and I am 11 years old. I started my Project for the Homeless when I was 7 years old after seeing a homeless person sleeping on the street. With the help of the community, my school and family I am able to put together packs for the homeless that provide the homeless with toiletries, a towel, a blanket and pillow, feminine hygiene products, a pen and notepad, a water bottle and a duffle bag. In my first year (2013) we made 100 packs. This year we are just shy of 1000 packs.
I need your help!
I have raised $49,000 through money and product donations but we are in urgent need of funds to get to my goal. The money will be used to buy pillows, blankets and toothpaste. Packing day is on May 20th 2016. Last year students from 9 different schools came to help pack. This year the Department of Community Service has asked me to provide them with my packs so they can distribute them. Last year all packs were distributed to St Vincent de Paul, Red Cross Soup Kitchen and The Street Doctor in Perth. All money donated goes directly to buying products for our packs. Please help me reach my goal so we can reach more homeless people in need. Thank you.
