Often referred to as Pinktober. As part of Pinktober, Reduce Home Loans is supporting people battling with breast cancer.

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer that causes death in women in Australia. Both men and women can acquire this disease but it rarer to occur in men than in women. According to Australian Government Cancer Australia, the estimated number of deaths from breast cancer in 2018 is 3157, 28 are male and 3,128 are female.

Breast cancer is a type of cancer that starts in the breast tissue and occurs when abnormal cells in the breast grow in an uncontrolled way.  Potentially spreading outside the breast. Know the risk factors and symptoms of breast cancer to prevent late detection and save lives.

Reduce Home Loans’ tradition of giving back to the community and helping Aussies in need through our Charity Fundraising page. Below is a story of a mum who is currently battling with breast cancer and her son is asking for assistance for her breast cancer journey.
