CHECK YOUR ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for an Eco Home or Investment loan the applicant must meet the following criteria:
Supply evidence that the property that secures the loan features five items from the Sustainable Features List. If the property does not feature five, the loan purpose must include financing the purchase and / or installation of the remaining features.
- Solar power system (minimum 5kw)
- Battery energy storage
- Solar or heat pump hot water
- Water storage (minimum 5,000 litres and plumbed to toilets and/or laundry)
- Waterless composting toilet
- Wall and ceiling insulation (minimum R2.5 and R4 respectively)
- Underfloor insulation
- Double glazed and / or tinted windows (minimum 75% of buildings external glass)
- Home wastewater treatment system
- Reverse cycle air conditioning (minimum 5-star energy rated)
- Any other sustainable feature that the customer believes should be considered – subject to referral to, and acceptance by Funder’s Sustainability Committee
