Nephew’s Battle with Leukemia

28th of January 2018 Cass, Maddison’s sister was told that her son has cancer. Maddison’s nephew, Lochie which she describes as a boy full of light, love, intelligence has Philadelphia Chromosome-Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Doctors said it’s curable through chemotherapy still, a lot of challenges lies ahead of their family. To be able to support Lochie through his healing and treatment, Cass will either be working minimal hours or not at all.

As a mother of a child with cancer once said, “I’ve learned one thing, and that is to try to make it as normal as possible for you and your child in a very abnormal time.”

Maddison decided to shave her head amongst other family members to support Lochie and raise as much money as possible to financially support her sister Cass, and brother-in-law/one of Maddison’s best friends, Andy.

Help Maddison take the stress of money off my family, so they can instead put all their energy towards making life as normal as possible in a very abnormal time.
