Reduce Home Loans rated 5 Stars again by Canstar
Canstar’s 6-monthly 5 Star Ratings were released last week (September 13, 2018), and Reduce Home Loans has been awarded 5 Stars for variable owner-occupied and investment home loans.
The Star Rating system is devised to help customers assess products across a variety of profiles, from insurance policies to home loans. Rating research is based on a methodology that compares price and features across eligible products.
A total of 5,394 home loan products across 126 lenders were considered in the latest research. 3,192 of these products from 91 lenders met the rating eligibility criteria. Of those loans, only 10% achieved a 5 Star Rating.
Home loan products awarded with a 5 Star rating have been assessed as offering outstanding value in each profile.
About Canstar’s 5 Star Awards
According to Canstar, … ‘smaller lenders are offering better value to home loan customers across the board. Not one of the big 4 banks’ home loan products received a 5 Star Rating.’
Reduce Home Loans’ variable products have again beaten the big 4 banks across all rating criteria areas, from overall value through to available loan features.
Reduce Home Loans’ Rate Buster product was rated as one of the top 3 owner-occupied variable rate home loans available on the current market.
Not far behind in the ratings, Reduce’s Rate Buster Escape and Rate Lovers were also awarded 5 Stars individually compared to all other loan products. These awards were achieved based on the value over the life of the loan, and available loan features such as offset accounts, zero-cost redraw and loan splits.
Reduce also achieved a 5 Star Rating in the investment variable rate home loan space with the Investor Rate Buster High Lend product. Along with a low variable rate, the product also offers features such as interest-only repayments, split loans, redraw facility and an optional offset.
Many lenders are hard pressed to offer full-featured loans along with a low rate. Reduce Home Loans is rated as offering outstanding value in the home loan market.
